Elysion - "Bring Out Your Dead"

Excellent and accessible Gothic Metal

This album rocks.

Elysion is a Greek Gothic Metal band. At times in this album they sound like old Lacuna Coil, with a solid bass line and interesting hooks. There’s not a bad song on this album. The whole thing is just excellent. The production feels bare-bones at times, but the band finds ways to make the songs sound unique and deep without a lot of elements actually in play.

This is also a fairly accessible, I think, album for people who aren’t really into Metal, but want to sample some things. I like this one a lot.
